[Edit] This just came in:
Sony Developing a Handheld That Can Run Playstation 5 Games
[Earlier News]:
Original Post:
So it truly does seem like I was onto something when I predicted a third Playstation Portable being in the works months ago before any sort of hints or announcements being made. I did this by watching an interview where I noticed the interviewee was giving hints of a couple upcoming products, in particular a portable gaming system by Sony, being in development. It seems I was right as now news is going around of it being really in development.
If you recall, I made a post here describing how (all of a sudden) one day after publishing a gaming article on Medium, based on just a bunch from an interview I watched, the article truly took off and I ended up being a top writer in gaming on Medium’s platform. I originally publishing it just on my own Medium feed and it didn’t take off that much, although it still had more views and reads than most of my other regular self-published Medium content, it truly took off when I published it on a Medium ePub or gaming mag, called SUPERJUMP, within the platform itself.
Last I checked, it had more than 4k views. This is not saying much, but I never really found success on Medium, so for me this was a big deal to see the numbers all of a sudden daily start to climb up on one article I wrote. I remember just wondering how come all of a sudden all these views and reads for one article were starting to accumulate. I then realized I must have come up on something and again this goes back to my hindsight and journalistic research I am good at and not just writing articles. The article focused on how I watched a discussion between a Sony executive or employee sort of hint at an upcoming device, a portable gaming device to be precise or something like a Playstation Portable 3, and wrote about it.
The article I wrote is titled ”Sony May Have Some Surprised in Store for Playstation Fans.” It was based on an interview I just happened to accidentally run into and watch on Facebook hosted by a company or panel called Netguru between Tonino Greco a Sony executive and the interviewee, who happens to be a Polish guy at Netguru and seems to do all the interviews Netguru hosts. You can view the SUPERJUMP article I wrote here. It was 200 claps as well, as of this writing, which is quite a feet for me on Medium:

I also noticed many other news outlets in the gaming world, including YouTube channels, started to cover this story, but almsot none of them gave me credit for being really the first one to reveal it from that discussion or
Lately, everything I predicted or I thought was hinted at during this discussion is being announced as an official upcoming product. For example, this just popped up on my iPad’s Chrome browser feed:
I have a good nose to pick a story out sometimes from a simple interview where someone maybe reveals too much too early and gives hints of something interesting that may be in development. This was one example. Most of the time I do not bother covering such stories as Medium hardly gains me any views and self-publishing typically does not pay anything. however, this time it worked out quite well as the story actually took off and became viral ina way. Again, most of the the other gaming YouTube channels and articles that covered it if you notice the dates used me as the source or simply used my article to watch the interview and also draw their conclusions, but did not give me credit.
Anyway, this is interesting how it is proving to be true and my nose was right in sniffing out a good gaming story. I actually owned the original Playstation Portable and it was a great gaming device as well as a multimedia center and really a small microcomputer in your pocket. This is because I hacked it, or as they call it jailbreaking these days, and it was able to run so much software and even operating systems that one would never think was possible on such a device at the time. The PSP was great and I hear the Vita was also ahead of its time , but poorly supported. Hopefully, the upcoming device will be great as well.
Again, I am quite sure I broke this story. Netguru is not a super widely-known panel of discussion and is Polish based, thus it gets recommended to me on Facebook when they go live. However, not many other people really watch it, especially outside of Poland, where I am currently at. If anyone can prove they came to the same conclusion and ended up watching the same interview at the same time as me, please let me know and show me the publication dates of your article, gaming video or reveal because the original article as well as the SUPERJUMP version are all available on my Medium for all to see with publication dates shown.
